Introduce your troops to orienteering techniques while allowing them to work together toward a common goal! After a brief lesson on orienteering techniques, participants are equipped with compasses and teams leave on a search for various check points.
Using maps and a GPS unit, each team must track down caches hidden in the surrounding area. Courses are adapted to the physical capabilities of the group and vary from 1.5 to 2 hours in duration, including a brief introduction to orienteering techniques and GPS units.
Activity allowing participants to reach unknown limits while working as a team. Self accomplishment, teamwork and strategy will be put participants to the test in this real challenge adapted to physical capabilities of the participants. The various activities can include (but are not limited to), trekking, mountain biking, canoeing, orienteering, climbing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, etc.
